Dental Nurses
Amy Rigby (Trainee Dental Nurse)
Amy joined the practice in July 2009. Although, no previous dental experience of nursing, she has settled in very well. She is fluent with IT and has already made an excellent contribution to some administration work .
She has gained experience working with dental surgeons at both practices.
Outside dentistry her interests include horse riding. She has been doing this since the age of 5! She lives with her partner and has one daughter.
Nikki Walley (Senior Nurse)
Nikki joined the practice in May 2003 and is also a very experienced dental nurse. Nikki gained her dental nursing qualification in 2005 and is responsible for some practice administration, such as stock control and equipment maintenance. Nikki is well known to all our patients as she has been a resident in Biddulph for the last two decades and is a friendly and familiar face in the neighbourhood! She is married with 1 daughter.
Charmaine Barnett (Receptionist and Trainee Nurse)
Charmaine joined the practice in the summer of this year. She brings to the practice a wealth of experience in healthcare having worked with adults of challenging and learning behaviour. Charmaine has enrolled on the dental nursing course but also provides support at Reception.
She enjoys travelling, keeping fit, Indian cuisines and shopping!
